Nopales are a type of cactus commonly found in Mexico and other parts of Central and South America. They are a popular ingredient in Mexican cuisine and are often used in dishes like tacos, salads, and stews.

Nopales are known for their unique texture and flavor, which can be described as slightly tangy and slightly citrusy. To prepare nopales for cooking, the spiny outer layer must be removed (our nopales comes with all of that removed), and the remaining flesh can be sliced, diced, or cooked whole.

Nopales can be cooked in a variety of ways, including grilling, boiling, sautéing, or roasting. They can be added to dishes as a side dish or a main ingredient, and they pair well with other Mexican flavors like chili, lime, and cilantro.
